This role will support the Maintenance and Production departments with routine tasks and project-related tasks.

Essential Functions
- General Assistance: Transport tools, materials, and supplies to senior technicians and hold equipment during repairs.
- Routine Upkeep: Perform basic facility tasks like changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, painting and basic plumbing.
- Janitorial & Grounds: Maintain exterior grounds, snow and ice removal, landscape projects and assist with deep cleaning or trash removal.
- Moving & Setup: Transport furniture, supplies, or equipment between rooms and help set up spaces for events.
- Safety & Compliance: Inspect safety systems (like fire exits, extinguishers, emergency lighting and chemical safety gear) and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
Work Environment
This position operates in an industrial manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses material handling equipment, hand tools and power tools.
Some of the work will require exposure to loud noises or fumes in the manufacturing environment.

Must be able to frequently stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Must be able to push or pull heavy loads using typical material handling equipment.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM. Overtime will be required on weekends.
Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is required.
Preferred Education and Experience
1. 2 years’ experience working in an industrial setting is preferred.
2. Forklift and aerial lift experience is desired.
3. Carpentry, painting and plumbing experience is desired.
