Description
- Develops and retains commercial business, meeting with prospects and clients of moderate size and complexity in a designated region to achieve a moderate sales goal under limited supervision of more experienced personnel.
- Makes calls independently and may accompany more experienced personnel on larger account visits.
- Gathers related financial and general business information, performs financial analyses needed to make credit decisions, participates in team credit decisions and communicates with prospects and clients to close sales.
- Develops broader knowledge base of commercial and other products and services, including loan policy, documentation, structuring and regulatory requirements.
- Continues developing growing network of outside referral sources for new business.
- Ensures that own work, as well as work of any employees supervised, is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.
- Remain compliant with bank guidelines, policies, procedures, regulatory and BSA requirements.
- Good communication skills, good computer skills, accuracy, flexibility, ability to handle high stress situations, regular and predictable attendance, exercise discretion and good judgment, follow instructions.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in originating first and second mortgages, construction loans, home equity lines of credit and other portfolio-type products.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in business, finance or management preferred. Wholesalers and rate sheets knowledge. Underwriting knowledge, from origination to loan closing and construction draws.
- Strong consultative sales skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
