Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Front Office Receptionist to join our growing Pain Management practice in Glendale. The ideal candidate is professional, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and customer service. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment, and a strong commitment to supporting both patients and the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Collect patient copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, and outstanding balances
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Obtain and process insurance authorizations as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records within the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. E-Clinical Works experience a plus!
- Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards
- Provide exceptional customer service while advocating for patients and supporting office operations.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of medical front office preferred
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems. E-Clinical Works experience a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional, positive, and patient-focused attitude
- Experience with insurance verification and authorization processes
Preferred:
- Experience in a specialty medical practice
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures
- Bilingual preferred
