Job Summary:
Fulton County Health Center is seeking a Receptionist to support the Multi-Specialty Clinic in the Medical Offices. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for patients, visitors and staff while providing high-quality clerical and scheduling support. A strong focus on customer service, organization, and patient safety is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register clinic patients and obtain required documentation, including copying insurance cards and referrals.
- Schedule patient appointments and testing during clinic sessions.
- Assist clinic staff and physicians with daily clinic operations, including preparing patient information and helping explain processes to patients.
- Answer and route phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries within scope of knowledge.
- Maintain the monthly Specialty Clinic calendar to support scheduling, clinic space billing, and daily clinic operations.
- Distribute clinic schedules to family physician office staff and assist the public with specialty clinic scheduling information.
- Coordinate clinic room availability and instruct clinic personnel on room use, preparation, and clean-up.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- One to three years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
- Previous experience in a provider’s office and EHR (Electronic Health Record) software is preferred.
- Strong multitasking abilities, customer service skills, and computer proficiency are essential.
