Description
As a Kitchen Manager, you oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety, managing inventory, and lead kitchen staff to deliver a great customer experience. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining excellent standards.
What You'll do as a Kitchen Manager:
- Supervise and coordinate all kitchen staff and operations
- Ensure food is prepared consistently and meets quality standards
- Maintain compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
- Create staff schedules and monitor labor costs
- Train and coach kitchen employees
- Minimize waste and improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure excellent customer experiences
- Handle kitchen equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Previous kitchen or food service management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs as needed
- Kitchen management or supervisory experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
