Description

As a Retail Outlet Store Clerk, you will be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients at our retail outlet store. You will be responsible for helping customers select items, answer questions, process payments, and maintain the store’s appearance. You will also need to be knowledgeable about our products and able to suggest items that match their needs. With your hard work and dedication, you will help our store succeed and provide the best shopping experience for our customers.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  •  Greet customers and provide friendly customer service.
  •  Stock shelves with merchandise and maintain a neat and orderly store.
  •  Answer customer inquiries about products and services.
  •  Assist customers in selecting suitable merchandise for their needs.
  •  Process payments and complete sales transactions quickly and accurately.
  •  Ensure that safety, health, and safety rules are followed.
  •  Monitor inventory levels and replenish when necessary.
  •  Provide advice and recommendations to customers.
  •  Assist in unloading and sorting incoming merchandise.
  •  Enter online orders in excel spreadsheets for monitoring credit card fees.
  •  Process daily online orders.
  •  Perform weekly or monthly cycle counting of inventory.
  •  Maintain store displays and keep the store neat and tidy.
  •  Assist with setting up promotional displays.
  •  Assist in merchandising activities such as pricing and tagging.
  •  Help manage store operations such as opening/closing procedures.
  •  Create embroidery orders for customers.
  •  Email all embroidery orders to the customization department.
  •  Reorganize store for monthly sales.
  •  Heat press shirts, coveralls, and jacket.
Requirements

Education/Experience:

  •  Must have a high school diploma equivalent.
  •  One year experience working in retail environment.
  •  Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, and other inventory software.

  Required Skills/Abilities:

  •  Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
  •  Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  •  Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Ability to operate point-of-sale equipment.
  •  Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  •  Basic knowledge of computer systems and cash handling procedures.
  •  Knowledge of store policies and procedures.
  •  Ability to multi-task effectively.

 Physical Requirements:

  •  Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  •  Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in a warehouse
  • Ability to navigate the loading and unloading of materials, which may include access to a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, reaching, climbing, and bending.
