Position Overview for Part-time Auction Clerk

America's Auto Auction West Michigan is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Auction Clerk for our Friday auction sale days.  The Auction Clerk plays a key role in the auction process by entering vehicle and sale information into the system in real time as vehicles are auctioned.  This is a fast-paced, high-energy environment where accuracy and focus are critical.

Key Responsibilities for Part-time Auction Clerk

• Enter vehicle and sale data into the computer system during live auction events
• Work closely with auctioneers to ensure accurate and timely recording of information
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail while working at a fast pace
• Verify and correct data as needed during the auction process
• Support auction operations as needed on sale day

Requirements for Part-time Auction Clerk

• Strong data entry skills with a focus on speed and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Basic computer proficiency
• Reliable and punctual, with consistent Friday availability
• Prior clerical or administrative experience is a plus (auction experience not required)

Work Schedule for Part-time Auction Clerk

• Fridays only (weekly auction day)
• Hours may vary depending on auction schedule
• Start at 8:15 and end anywhere from noon until 2pm
• Able to work some extra admin work after sale if desired
