Good News Home for Women is a nonprofit residential treatment center dedicated to helping women overcome substance abuse and co-occurring mental health challenges. We provide a safe, structured, and compassionate environment for up to 12 women, offering both short-term stabilization and long-term recovery support.


We are seeking a volunteer or intern (age 18+) with experience in social media management, administrative support, and AI-based tools to assist our Human Resources & Outreach Director. This is an unpaid opportunity ideal for students or professionals looking to gain hands-on nonprofit experience while contributing to a mission that transforms lives.


Responsibilities

  • Create and schedule posts across Good News Home’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Use AI tools to assist with content creation, design, and analytics
  • Update and organize administrative documents, including the Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures Manual, and Residents' Manual
  • Support HR and outreach initiatives with data entry, document formatting, and communication tasks
  • Collaborate with staff to maintain consistent branding and messaging

Schedule & Location

  • Flexible hours (remote or hybrid)
  • Periodic in-person meetings in Flemington, NJ

Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Experience in social media management and administrative tasks
  • Familiarity with AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Canva AI, ChatGPT, or similar)
  • Strong writing, organization, and communication skills
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
