The Trim Coil Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the trim coil production line to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role is responsible for machine setup, operation, quality inspections, material handling, and maintaining production standards while supporting overall manufacturing goals.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor trim coil production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as required.
- Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor production output and identify quality or operational issues.
- Load and unload coils and materials for production.
- Complete production reports, quality checks, and required documentation.
- Assist with inventory control, material movement, and production support activities.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and customer demands.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous machine operator, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Ability to read work orders, production schedules, and measurement tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
