Join our culinary team as a Tipped Kitchen Cook and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences in our Brewery Tap Room Concept. This is not a typical kitchen job; you will contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen while upholding high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food quality, all while earning top-tier hourly income.

Compensation

  • Average Pay: $22.00 – $24.00/hr (Combined hourly rate + tips).
  • Tip Heavy: Tips account for approximately 60% of total earnings, providing strong nightly cash flow.
  • Tax Advantage: No tax on the first $25,000 in tips, leading to higher take-home pay.

Open Shifts (High Priority)

This role is perfect for students or day workers (construction, warehouse, etc.) looking for a second job income.

  • Mon – Thu: 4:00pm – 9:00pm (MOST NEEDED)
  • Fri: 3:00pm – 11:00pm (Flexible split shifts available)
  • Sat: 12:00pm – 11:00pm
  • Sun: 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing meats according to recipes.
  • Cook and grill menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Support various stations (grill, fryer, prep) and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Perform dishwashing duties and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized.
  • Receive food deliveries, rotate stock, and assist with inventory counts.
  • Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen.
  • Follow all food safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe environment.

Requirements & Physical Demands

  • Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Activity: Must be able to stand for prolonged periods, move in confined spaces, and repeat motions of the wrists/hands.
  • Lifting: Occasionally adjust or move objects up to 40 pounds.
  • Environment: Must be comfortable working in noisy environments and around high temperatures.
