Job Summary


As a Skip Tracer, you will conduct investigative research to locate vehicles associated with active repossession accounts and provide accurate, actionable intelligence to our field team. You will also play a key role in agent zone assignment, territory assignment, and routing, determining which field agents are best positioned to pursue target vehicles based on location and operational needs.

This fast-paced role combines skip tracing, data analysis, technology, and real-time coordination with field agents to turn location intelligence into efficient recovery activity.



Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct skip tracing using credit headers, court records, proprietary databases, and vehicle/people location tools
  • Research, analyze, and validate information to identify vehicle locations
  • Utilize LPR and recovery software to support vehicle identification and location efforts
  • Assign accounts to appropriate agent zones and territories
  • Route actionable accounts to field agents based on geographic location and operational priorities
  • Coordinate directly with field agents regarding target locations and account activity
  • Monitor active accounts for new leads, updates, and discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and system records
  • Help maximize field-agent efficiency through effective territory assignment and routing

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On Site)



Salary

Base salary starts at $45,000 annually, with the potential to earn up to an additional $10,000 in performance-based bonuses during the first year.

Requirements
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to work nights Strong investigative mindset with excellent attention to detail  
  • Experience in skip tracing, collections, investigations, logistics, or similar analytical roles preferred  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment  
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office  
  • Comfortable working with databases, research tools, and technology platforms  
  • Professional phone presence and strong interpersonal communication skills  
  • Reliable attendance and strong accountability for assigned responsibilities  
  • Must successfully pass background screening and drug testing
Salary Description
$45,000- $55,000
