Position Overview: This position supports the USARC Psychological Health Program as a Regional Director of Psychological Health – Team Lead (RDPH-TL). KSA Integration is seeking experienced, licensed behavioral health clinicians to serve as Regional Director of Psychological Health – Team Lead (RDPH-TL) in support of the U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC) Psychological Health Program (PHP). The RDPH-TL provides clinical and administrative oversight of a regional team of RDPHs, NCMs, and Administrative Assistants while carrying a direct service caseload supporting Reserve Component (RC) Soldiers and their families.

Job Type: Full-time / Exempt | Travel required; Battle Assembly weekend availability required

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to assigned RDPHs, NCMs, and AAs, including a minimum of one (1) hour of telephone supervision every other week per RDPH and quarterly case record reviews.
  • Review all priority cases before the third client session; conduct face-to-face supervision at least annually (quarterly in year one or when a performance plan is active).
  • Oversee delivery of consultative, referral, and case management services across the region, ensuring best practices are identified, shared, and applied.
  • Conduct bio-psycho-social assessments, including substance abuse assessments, and participate in RC-sponsored TBI and PTSD training.
  • Coordinate and consult with RC leadership on behavioral health initiatives and policy; plan and chair regional behavioral health meetings.
  • Respond to critical incidents and provide Trauma Emergency Management (TEM) and Critical Incident Stress Intervention (CISI) services as qualified.
  • Support RC events, including Yellow Ribbon Programs, Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP), resource fairs, and psychoeducation briefs.
  • Submit monthly status reports (MSR) and maintain accurate case records in compliance with DHAPM 6025.13, Volume 4.
  • Arrange and document continuing education and training for staff; ensure all team members maintain active, unrestricted licensure.
  • Serve as the point of escalation for complex cases requiring Commander or COR input.
Requirements
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW): MSW from a CSWE-accredited institution; current, valid, unrestricted LCSW in the state of performance. OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) / Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC): Master’s in Counseling, CMHC, or similar from a CACREP-accredited institution; current, valid, unrestricted LPC/LMHC in the state of performance.
  • Meets all minimum qualifications for the RDPH role, PLUS minimum 2 years of direct clinical supervision or supervisory experience, OR 3 years of supervised experience delivering services equivalent to the PHP.
  • Minimum 2 years consulting with management on mental health-related matters.
  • Demonstrated understanding of labor relations, grievance procedures, and complex organizational environments.
  • Must maintain unrestricted licensure in each state where services are provided (no licensure portability under 10 USC 1094).
  • Clear LEIE, TRICARE sanction query, and FBI/state background check required.
  • U.S. citizenship or authorized work status required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC (Tier 1 Background Investigation).

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Prior experience supporting Reserve Component, National Guard, or other military behavioral health programs.
  • Familiarity with TRICARE, VA health systems, and Military Health System policy.
