Food Runner

Position Overview:

The Food Runner serves as the vital link between the kitchen and dining room, ensuring that food is delivered promptly, accurately, and professionally to members and guests. This position helps maintain efficient service, supports servers, and contributes to an exceptional dining experience.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables quickly and accurately.
  • Verify that all dishes are prepared correctly and match the order before leaving the kitchen.
  • Announce and describe menu items when delivering food to guests.
  • Ensure proper presentation of all food items before service.
  • Assist servers by delivering condiments and responding to guest requests.
  • Maintain communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff regarding special requests, allergies, and order modifications.
  • Clear plates and assist with table maintenance as needed.
  • Keep service stations stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assist with dining room setup and breakdown before and after service.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and club service standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support banquet, events, and outdoor dining operations assigned.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest service.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a private club, hotel or luxury residential environment


Work Environment & Conditions

This position operates throughout the Club, including indoor and occasional outdoor areas, as well as on-site member rooms.

Physical requirements include prolonged standing, walking, frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying (up to approximately 25 pounds). 

Salary Description
$18.50-$19.50 per hour
