The Folktale Group is looking for an On-Call Event Line Cook to support our weddings, winery events, and private celebrations. Join a talented culinary team and help create exceptional dining experiences at some of the Monterey Peninsula's most beautiful events.

Requirements
- Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and chef specifications
- Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment
- Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation standards during service
- Work efficiently during high-volume event service
- Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and dependable team players
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
- Weekend and evening availability is required
- Previous line cook, prep cook, banquet cook, or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8+ hours
- Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
