About VeroTouch

VeroTouch exists to change how homes are built.

We are a venture-backed construction technology company reimagining residential construction by combining advanced manufacturing, robotics, and traditional building expertise. At a time when housing affordability, labor shortages, and inefficiency continue to plague our industry, VeroTouch is focused on building better, faster, and smarter.

Our work sits at the intersection of construction and technology. We design and operate systems that integrate 3D printing, advanced materials, and lean production principles into real-world job sites. This is not a theoretical exercise. We are actively building homes, learning in real time, and turning those experiences into repeatable and scalable operating models.

VeroTouch is early-stage, hands-on, and execution-driven. The people who thrive here are builders in every sense of the word. They take ownership, stay calm under pressure, and care deeply about outcomes. If you are excited by challenges, energized by responsibility, and motivated by the opportunity to help define the future of an industry that rarely changes, you will feel at home here.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Specialist at VeroTouch is a pivotal early-career role designed for an ambitious HR professional ready to grow fast and own real outcomes. You will support the full spectrum of HR functions: talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and culture in a hands-on, startup-like environment where your contributions will be immediately visible. Reporting to executive leadership, this role is built for someone with approximately 3 years of generalist HR experience who is eager to operate with increasing autonomy, take on expanded responsibilities quickly, and develop a clear path toward an HR Manager role or beyond within a short timeframe. You do not need to have all the answers today, but you need to be hungry, resourceful, and willing to roll up your sleeves alongside a team building something that has never been built before.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

HR Operations and Administration

  • Support and execute day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, record-keeping, benefits administration, and policy compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR systems, and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assist with developing and refining HR policies, templates, and standard operating procedures as the organization scales.

Talent Acquisition and Onboarding

  • Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process: job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offer letters, and onboarding logistics with guidance from leadership.
  • Support sourcing efforts for construction, technical, and corporate roles, building pipelines for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Deliver structured onboarding experiences that quickly integrate new hires into VeroTouch's culture and operational cadence.

Employee Relations and Culture

  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and HR matters, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
  • Help maintain and reinforce VeroTouch's culture of excellence, accountability, and builder's mindset through consistent communication and engagement.
  • Support investigations, documentation, and resolution of employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner.

Performance and Development Support

  • Assist in administering performance management cycles, including goal-setting templates, feedback tools, and evaluation tracking.
  • Coordinate training and development logistics, including safety orientations, onboarding training, and team-wide programs.

Compensation, Benefits, and Compliance

  • Help manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive offerings that align with industry standards, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and performance incentives.
  • In partnership with corporate counsel, assist with ensuring full compliance with federal, state (Colorado-specific), and local employment laws, occupational safety regulations (particularly for construction sites), and industry standards, while maintaining accurate HR records and reporting.

HR Analytics and Organizational Effectiveness

  • Help monitor HR metrics, employee engagement, retention trends, and organizational health; provide data-driven recommendations to improve processes and overall workforce effectiveness.

Qualifications

Education

  • Demonstrated experience, a proven work ethic, and a strong commitment to continuous learning—attributes that deliver results beyond traditional education (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; (preferred).

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally in construction, manufacturing, technology, or startup environments.
  • Foundational knowledge of talent acquisition, employee relations, onboarding, and HR compliance.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, including Colorado-specific regulations and OSHA basics relevant to construction environments.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams from field crews and technicians to office staff and leadership.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where structure is still being built.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting HR in a scaling, early-stage, or venture-backed company.
  • Exposure to lean principles, construction, manufacturing, or technology-driven operations.
  • Demonstrated track record of taking initiative, owning tasks end-to-end, and growing beyond the original scope of a role.
