Job Description
Summary
The Solutions Analyst reports to the Chief of Product Innovation and is a key member of the operations team. They are responsible for delivering data visualizations and analysis to both external and internal partners. They will monitor school district data over time and create easy to use dashboards and correlation analysis that district leaders can use to make decisions and see performance growth.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the impact of our services across districts to discover insights that tell the story of our impact, what leads to repeatable results, and what indicates when outcomes are at risk
- Develop innovative reporting and story-telling approaches to address business problems and solutions
- Create clear and simple data visualizations, tables, and dashboards using business intelligence tools for tracking metrics, prototyping GroweLab reports, and sharing insights with stakeholders
- Use modern reporting tools to streamline and automate manual, repetitive reporting processes, bringing new insights to leaders in an interactive and timely manner
- Make recommendations surrounding which data points to analyze and monitor depending on the project goals
- Develop ad-hoc reporting in support of business processes and data-driven decision making.
- Coordinate inputs from multiple sources, synthesize data/information and create qualitative commentary capturing key messages
- Use data modeling, prototyping, statistics, data mining, scenario analysis to collect, explore, and extract insights and summarize them in concise reports
- Prepare data for analysis by inspecting, cleansing, and performing transformation as necessary
- Support data integrity by providing quality assurance and performing user acceptance testing on platform reports and associated data, to ensure they are complete, consistent, and provide accurate data
- Develop and administer surveys for the purposes of data collection on e2L products
- Act as a "Data Translator" to communicate and understand the value of analytical work
- Other duties as assigned
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or closely related field.
- 3+ years of data/reporting technical experience
- Analytical skills for examining data sets thoroughly and accurately
- Able to simplify complex insights for audiences without a technical background
- Skills to work in a data environment with a high-level of ambiguity
- Skills that demonstrate best-in-the-class proficiency in data visualization techniques
- Skills to experiment, learn, persist through setbacks and solve difficult problems with a methodical approach
- Skills to expand beyond descriptive analytics to drive more data derived insights through use of tools/platforms such as QuickSight, HubSpot dashboards
- Demonstrated skills to influence and communicate (written and in person) at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying milestones and deadlines
- Project Management experience a plus
- Experience partnering with IT, preferred
- Special consideration will be given to candidates with a proficiency in data analysis languages (i.e. SQL, Python)
Employment Details
- This is a full-time, exempt position.
- This is a remote position.
- Standard work hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with additional hours as necessary.
- Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

- Full-time employees receive 6 weeks of PTO per year.
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required.
