Outside Sales Representative Job Invitation 

The Part Works is a leading plumbing parts distributor in the Pacific Northwest that just opened a seat at the table for a remarkable Outside Sales Representative for the Portland office. 


A bit about us:

With our headquarters in Seattle, our primary initiative, and therefore the investment of our resources, is to grow our Portland Office.

And it’s working for us. We now service the largest universities and hospitals in our territories. 


Your new position has several components: 

  • Prospect and grow your Portland territory sales 
  • Learn the plumbing industry from other employees and vendors 
  • Collaborate with the Portland and National offices in strategies of expansion across Oregon 

The challenges are great, as are the rewards. 

Our prospects are facing a challenge to find trained plumbers and tradespeople. They are struggling to stock and keep the inventory levels where they need. And we are perfectly positioned and equipped to supply what they need.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience
  • Proven success prospecting, developing, and growing new customer accounts
  • Experience managing an assigned sales territory and consistently exceeding sales goals
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to understand technical products and explain their value to customers
  • Experience using CRM software to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience as a plumber or facilities maintenance a plus

Job Type: Full-time 

Salary: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Salary Description
