Key Responsibilities:

- Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide advanced pre-hospital medical care

- Assess patient conditions and deliver appropriate treatment in accordance with protocols

- Collaborate effectively with other emergency services and hospital staff

- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment provided

- Ensure all equipment and vehicles are properly maintained and ready for emergency response

- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities


Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid state paramedic certification and licensure

- Proven experience in emergency medical services or related field

- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

Paramedic Qualifications / Skills:

  • Knowledge of methods and techniques for providing on-site emergency medical services
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other medical personnel, victims, and family
  • Read, write, and communicate professionally and effectively with employees and managers
  • Write simple correspondence or reports
  • Knowledge of company protocols, operational procedures, and safety policies

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • State driver’s license
  • State Paramedic Certification or National Registry Paramedic Certification (LP/EMT-P/NREMT-P)
  • AHA Basic Life Support Certification
  • AHA Advanced Life Support Certification
  • Certified as a CPR Instructor in Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association (must obtain within one year of employment)
  • Certified as a First Aid Instructor by the American Heart Association or the National Safety Council (must obtain within one year of employment)
