Position Summary

Arrow International is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between our Electronics Production team in Cleveland and our Engineering team in Chicago.

This is not a product design role. Instead, this person will serve as the engineering resource supporting the production of our eGaming cabinets. This role will work directly on the manufacturing floor to troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues, improve manufacturing processes, and partner with Corporate Engineering to support product improvements.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving real-world production challenges, collaborating across engineering and manufacturing teams, and making an immediate impact on product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary engineering resource supporting electronics manufacturing within the eGaming production operation.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues involving PCB assemblies, wiring, power systems, displays, controllers, and integrated hardware.
  • Diagnose manufacturing issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
  • Partner with the Corporate Engineering team in Chicago to communicate production issues, validate design changes, and improve manufacturability.
  • Review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical documentation to support production.
  • Support new product introductions by helping transition new products from engineering into manufacturing.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, testing procedures, and assembly methods.
  • Support engineering change implementation and validate product improvements on the production floor.
  • Lead failure analysis efforts and recommend solutions that improve product quality, reliability, and first-pass yield.
  • Work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to production technicians and manufacturing personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting electronics manufacturing, production engineering, manufacturing engineering, or electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting electronic assemblies, PCB-based products, electrical systems, or electromechanical equipment.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment and supporting production operations on the shop floor.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
