We are looking for a motivated Senior HR Specialist to help support our people and business operations. In this role, you will act as a trusted resource for employees and managers, helping ensure a positive employee experience through responsive support, accurate data, and streamlined processes. You will contribute to compliance, process improvement, and cross-functional initiatives that strengthen both employee engagement and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted associate to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support the People Team in driving employee experience and retention through onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, and more.
- Focus on timely resolution to employee inquiries through the FreshDesk platform.
- Support our employee population with questions, troubleshooting, simplistic reporting, and process adherence for Tier 2 support.
- Create, maintain, and update knowledge articles within the systems to ensure our employees have current and the most up to date information.
- Take a user-centric approach to processes, technology, and procedures to improve employee experience.
- Continuously monitor and audit I-9 and unemployment processes to mitigate risk and ensure organizational compliance.
- Oversee the HR Operations ticketing tiers, ensuring that service requests are handled within the established Service Level Agreements (SLA). Monitor ticket resolution times, identify trends or recurring issues, and implement solutions to enhance service delivery.
- Verify compliance with employment laws and company policies, ensuring HR best practices.
- Ensure all HR processes follow operational compliance regulations. This includes process improvement, communication and partnership with vendors, and effective communications with various teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR projects and initiatives.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity within HR systems and perform regular system audits.
- Stay current with HR trends, laws, and best practices to ensure compliance and innovation in HR processes.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of related HR experience
- Baseline knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Experience in HRIS systems, Paylocity preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
