Career Opportunity: Quality Technician
Reports to: Site Quality Manager
On-Site Work Requirement: North Logan, UT

What a Day Looks Like:
- Assist Quality Engineers in investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Conduct routine inspections, measurements, and testing of in-process and finished products using mechanical and electronic inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, multimeters, etc.).
- Record and analyze data to monitor process capability and performance trends (SPC, capability studies).
- Perform document reviews and verifications to ensure compliance with specifications and control plans.
- Support validations, test protocols, and test report generation.
- Assist with audit preparation and execution (internal, customer, and regulatory audits).
- Maintain the nonconformance database and track open issues to closure.
- Support incoming inspection and supplier quality activities as needed.
Administrative & Documentation Tasks
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, control charts, and document revisions in accordance with ISO and FDA requirements.
- Upload and manage documentation in electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS).
- Coordinate updates and uploads to customer-specific quality portals.
- Support customer complaint investigations by organizing related documentation and communications.
- Track the status of customer requests, action items, and follow-up timelines in collaboration with Quality Engineers.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for internal and external quality reviews.
- Monitor and manage calibration records and support coordination of calibration services with internal teams or external vendors.
- Assist in maintaining training records and supporting quality-related training coordination.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years experience working in manufacturing, inspection, or quality environments.
- Strong understanding of quality principles, inspection methods, and root cause analysis tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and control plans.
- Familiarity with statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, or similar).
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Comfortable working within ERP and document control systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Must be U.S. persons within the definition of ITAR, with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. We can not sponsor Visas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASQ certifications (CST, CQI, etc.)
- IPC J-STD or IPC-610 Certification
- Experience in electronic manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100 standards

Compensation: Compensation is based on work experience in manufacturing, education, and prior work experience in electronics manufacturing.
