Job Title: Electrical Lead Technician
Summary of Position:
- Responsible for testing of electronics and complete analyzer assemblies.
- Perform visual inspection of all incoming electronics
- Perform troubleshooting on non-functioning electronics.
- Maintain testing records of new and returned analyzers.
- Solder electrical components.
- Perform testing as directed by Engineers and Management.
- Performing gas testing of analyzers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain all logs including production maintenance and calibration.
- Responsible for final qualification of analyzers and sensors.
- Communicate with sales regarding returned analyzers.
- Perform R&D testing and report testing data to engineers and manager.
- Ensure assemblies are built to specifications dictated by assembly drawing and procedures.
- Always keep workstation, testing area, and production floor clean and organized.
Requirements
Work Environment:
- Regular exposure to hazardous situations and equipment, such as high-speed machines and gas analyzing equipment.
- You wear protective gear daily, such as safety glasses, face masks, ESD clothing, or breathing equipment.
Competency / Qualifications Required:
- Ability to use measuring tools, power, and hand tools.
- Ability to read and follow testing procedures/drawings/blueprints.
- 1 year of electronic experience required.
- 1 year experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to communicate with management.
- Ability to read/write/communicate in English.
