We are looking for a talented Account Manager to nurture and maintain strong relationships with our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for logistics, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of managing client accounts within the transportation and logistics industry. This role requires a strategic approach to understanding client needs, identifying opportunities for growth and delivering superior customer service.


What we are looking for this role to do:


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all logistics-related inquiries, requests, and issues

· Understand clients’ business needs and objectives, proactively offering logistics solutions and services that add value and address their requirements

· Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, sales, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of logistics services and exceed client expectations

· Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfactions, identify areas for improvement, and present innovative solutions to optimize their supply chain operations

· Monitor account performance and key metrics, analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges, and taking proactive measures to address them

· Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions and competitors’ activities, providing valuable insights to drive business strategy and client retention efforts

Requirements

What you need to bring to the table:

· 1+ year industry experience

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience

· Aptitude to learn new TMS and CRM systems

· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

· Ability to persuade, motivate, influence, and negotiate with others

· Must be able to think quickly and handle high volume situations

· Excellent time management skills

· Ability to build strong cross-departmental relationships

· Ability to thrive under deadlines, drive results, multi-task and work with a sense of urgency

· Remains positive and flexible in an ever-changing environment with shifting priorities

· Detail oriented with strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills
