YWCA Dayton Position Description
YWCA Dayton, a 24 hours organization dedicated to the elimination of racism and the empowerment of women, seeks an energetic, dedicated person to be an integral part of our team. The Executive Assistant is a Non-Exempt level position working 40 hours weekly with some evenings and weekend activities. The Executive Assistant to the President/CEO serves as the right hand for the President/CEO of YWCA Dayton; a primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the President/CEO, serves as a liaison to the board of directors and executive team; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Executive Assistant will:
- Provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the President/CEO
- Manage complex calendar scheduling, prioritizing competing demands and resolving conflicts proactively
- Coordinate executive communications, including preparing and editing correspondence, presentations, reports, and board materials
- Serve as a liaison to the Board of Directors, including onboarding new members and supporting board engagement
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Lead and coordinate special projects and executive initiatives with organizational impact
- Anticipate needs and ensure the President/CEO is prepared for meetings, events, and commitments
- Facilitate strong communication between the CEO’s office and internal departments
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, donors, and community partners
- Prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Provide additional administrative support to the executive team as needed

- Business Acumen: Demonstrated high level of professionalism, poise and maturity, strong interpersonal and excellent customer service skills, demonstrated technical skills with Microsoft office products and presentations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 7 years of executive-level administrative support experience
- Associate’s degree in a related field preferred
- Nonprofit experience highly preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and 10+ years of experience may be considered
