Now Hiring – 2 Full-Time Dispatchers

Tegeler Wrecker & Crane is looking for two motivated, detail-oriented dispatchers to join our growing team. This is not your typical office job. Every day presents new challenges as you coordinate towing, recovery, transportation, and emergency roadside services across Eastern Iowa.

What You'll Do

• Answer incoming calls from customers, law enforcement agencies, motor clubs, and commercial accounts
• Dispatch tow trucks, heavy wreckers, recovery equipment, and transportation units
• Coordinate emergency roadside assistance and accident responses
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and partner agencies
• Track active jobs and provide updates to customers and field personnel
• Accurately enter information into dispatch software
• Prioritize multiple calls and changing situations while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor
• Assist customers with pricing, scheduling, and service questions
• Support daily operations and ensure efficient use of company resources

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in dispatching, transportation, logistics, towing, trucking, or customer service
• Familiarity with semi tractors and trailers
• Basic automotive knowledge
• Knowledge of Eastern Iowa roadways and communities
• Experience working with law enforcement, transportation, or service industries

No towing industry experience? No problem.
