We are currently seeking an Accountant who will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions assisting with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Journal Entries, and Account Reconciliations in support of the daily functions of the finance department and generally being a backup for other positions.
Expected Schedule: FT, 40 hours/week; Monday through Friday, Flexible Start Time- 8:00am to 4:30pm
Essential Responsibilities -
- Assist with the monthly and year-end close processes, including reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Perform account reconciliations (e.g., cash, bank accounts, prepaids, deferred revenue, and other balance sheet accounts).
- Record and reconcile cash activity, including bank deposits and transactions.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Support development and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Minimum 2-5 years of related accounting experience preferred
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
Other Skills & Abilities
- Experience with accounting or ERP systems required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate Excel skills preferred (e.g., pivot tables, lookups).
