Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, give job assignments to warehouse workers and line drivers and insure timely and accurate completion.
- Analyze department reports to insure proper action is taken with regard to shipments and materials received.
- Communicate discrepancies with shipments or materials received and problems delaying scheduled shipments with Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Management, and Customer Service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse.
- Adhere to Shipping and Receiving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs.)
- Analyze and complete reports include: Fifo, consolidations, cycle counts and other related reports.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory.
- Provide back-up support for all shipping and receiving functions.
- Train Shipping and Receiving employees.
- Learn and understand the PPS system. Ensure all transactions pre done correctly in system.
- Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person. Report any injury or accident immediately to supervisory and/or any unsafe condition.
- Supports food safety, quality and legality.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:
This work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment,?Cold storage facility utilizing lift and scanner equipment.?
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
