With continued growth comes opportunity, and we are currently searching for a Top Secret SCI with polygraph-cleared Mid-Level Cloud System Administrator.
Responsibilities:
Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of cloud systems. Manages infrastructure and processes related to these systems. Provides support to include day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution, peer-to-peer distributed storage networks, peer-to-peer routing and application messaging frameworks, provisioning and sustaining network infrastructures, and managing networks to operate in a secure PKI, IPSEC, or VPN enabled environment.
Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
Configures and fine tunes cloud infrastructure systems, Support Secure the Enterprise/Secure the Net requirements and processes. Support cloud servers including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting.
Experience with Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS). Experience and knowledge of OpenSource (NoSQL) products such as Hbase, Accumulo, Big Table, etc. Writes software scripts using scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Ruby for software automation.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional experience on projects with similar requirements may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Five (5) years of experience managing and monitoring large Hadoop clusters (>200 nodes).

- Perform basic Linux tasks to include SSH to remotely connect to a linux machine, install software in linux (RPM, YUM), understand docker, kubernetes, traefik etc and gather status from linux machines.

Many factors can influence final salary including, but not limited to relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Final salary can also be influenced by a position’s geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
The salary Range for this position is: $145,000-$195,000
