Job Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for keeping production or warehouse operations running smoothly by ensuring workstations are continuously stocked with materials, tools, and supplies. This role supports team members by transporting items, removing waste, maintaining an accurate inventory and maintaining an efficient workflow.

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver materials, parts, and supplies to assembly lines or workstations in a timely manner
  • Monitor inventory levels at stations and in the warehouse and restock as needed to prevent downtime
  • Remove empty containers and waste materials from work areas
  • Coordinate with supervisors and team members to anticipate production needs
  • Operate pallet jacks, carts, or other material-moving equipment safely
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety standards
  • Assist with basic inventory tracking 
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

  

Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ERP system knowledge is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic understanding of warehouse or production processes

  

Working Conditions

  • Standing and walking for long periods
  • Frequent lifting, bending, and moving materials
  • Exposure to warehouse and manufacturing environments (noise, machinery, etc.)

  

Schedule

  • Monday – Thursday (6AM – 4:30PM)
  • May include overtime depending on operational needs
