JOB OVERVIEW:
The Human Resources Assistant supports daily HR operations by executing administrative processes, maintaining HR systems, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. This role partners closely with HR leadership and employees to facilitate onboarding, benefits administration, and employee support while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and confidentiality.

- HRIS & Onboarding Coordination: 100% of new hires onboarded accurately and on time; with minimal critical onboarding errors
- Benefits & Compliance Support: Timely completion of Continuing Education/Wellness approvals, and Student Loan reimbursement processing
- HR Communications Management: HR inbox responses within 1 business day; high employee satisfaction scores
- Administrative & Project Support: Assigned tasks completed within deadlines with minimal rework
- EXPANDED RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage onboarding workflows within HRIS, ensure accurate data entry, and coordinate new hire processes.
- Initiate the escalation of complex issues and concerns to the HR Generalist or higher level HR staff.
- Assist with benefits administration and perform regular exclusion checks for licensed staff.
- Manage HR Support inbox ensuring responses within one business day.
- Coordinate Termination report, anniversary letters, and invoice processing.
- Support HR projects, clear Fidelity errors, and complete assigned tasks.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be 18 years or older
- Able to work in the United States
- Proficient in the Microsoft suite
- Experience utilizing AI for process improvement
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills
- Knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and HRIS systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Problem-solving ability and initiative
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in HR administration or healthcare environment
- Experience with HRIS systems and benefits platforms
