LEHRHAUS HOST

Lehrhaus: A Jewish Tavern & House of Learning is looking for a welcoming and charismatic individual to join our team as part-time host.  Two-three evening shifts including Sunday are the focus, but additional flexibility in coverage is welcome.

As host, you’ll be the first person guests interact with upon entry and will work with the bartenders to create great experiences for our guests.  Primary responsibilities include greeting all guests at the door, controlling the pace of service and holding the door when necessary, managing the waitlist, and directing guests to appropriate seating. Hosts also take & serve drink orders for the lounge.  Additional responsibilities include assisting the team in setting the dining room for service and responding to email inquiries and phone calls.

We encourage all backgrounds to apply.  Hosting experience is preferred, however, we are happy to train the right person.
