Mobile Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Maintenance and Repair:

  • Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
  • Provide minor repairs and maintenance at customer locations utilizing a mobile service van and equipment. 
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate repairs.

Teamwork:

  • Coordinate effectively with staff in multiple departments to provide top notch customer service.

Customer Service:

  • Provide and present recommended work to customers for additional services based on vehicle condition and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Ensure customer vehicles are repaired correctly and in a timely manner to meet customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure vehicles are left clean and in better condition than arrival

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Accurately complete repair orders, detailing work performed, parts used, and time spent on each repair.
  • Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.
  • Report any additional vehicle issues or concerns to service advisors and management.
  • Take customer payments when necessary and ensure accurate reporting of each payment

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other service technicians, service advisors, and parts department to ensure a smooth and efficient service process.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay current with industry developments and dealership policies.
  • Assist and mentor junior technicians as needed.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Follow all dealership and manufacturer policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to shop policies and regulations.
  • Properly dispose of hazardous materials and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
Requirements
  • Must have flexible 7 day a week availability
  • Must have valid drivers license and be insurable
  • Must be 18 years of age and older
  • Must have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn new skillsets
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
