Media / Advertising Sales Consultant


Midwest Communications, Inc in Peoria, IL is seeking a proven Media & Advertising Sales Consultant to drive revenue growth across one of the most dominant audio and digital media portfolios in Illinois. As our Media & Advertising Consultant, you will create advertising solutions that leverage radio, digital, and event marketing assets to help clients achieve their marketing goals.  

**This role has a base salary and monthly commission


As our Media & Advertising Sales Consultant, you will…

· Prospect, develop, and maintain a strong pipeline of new business through cold calling, networking, and community engagement 

· Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives and marketing needs 

· Create and present customized advertising proposals across radio, digital, streaming, social, and promotional platforms 

· Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue goals 

· Collaborate with internal teams (programming, promotions, digital, and production) to execute successful campaigns 

· Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and sales activity in CRM systems 

· Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings 

· Provide ongoing campaign performance updates and recommendations to clients 

· Represent the station at community and networking events to enhance brand visibility


We are asking you to…

· Be a high-achieving sales leader with a track record of developing revenue 

· Have excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

· Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently 

· Have a valid Illinois Driver License and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Check
