Big Easy Blends makes products designed to do exactly that: put smiles on people’s faces. We are growing across e-commerce, specialty retail, and major grocery chains. Our TikTok presence is one of our fastest-moving sales channels. We are a small team with real momentum, and we are looking for someone ready to build — not be handed a playbook.
This Role
We are not hiring someone to manage a checklist someone else built. We are hiring someone to build the systems, own the channels, and figure out what works. You will touch social, e-commerce, retail compliance, email, events, and AI-powered workflows — sometimes all in the same week.
There is no onboarding program. There is no hand-holding. You will come in, assess what exists, and start building. If you need to be told what to do each morning, this is not the right fit. If you thrive when given a goal and the freedom to figure out how to reach it, read on.
What You Will Build & Own
Social Media & TikTok Commerce
• Build and execute our content strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook — from scratch if needed
• Manage TikTok Live shopping sessions (4x per week) and go live from events and trade shows
• Create, edit, and publish short-form video using CapCut and Canva AI
• Grow our audience, monitor engagement, and iterate based on what performs
AI-Powered Workflows
• Use Claude AI daily — for copy, content calendars, SOPs, research, and campaign briefs
• Use Canva AI for graphics and CapCut for video editing — fast and at volume
• If a task can be automated, you automate it. That is the standard here.
E-Commerce & Product Listings
• Maintain product listings across our website, Amazon, and other platforms
• Manage our TikTok Shop storefront — listings, promotions, affiliate partnerships, performance
• Keep images, descriptions, and pricing current across every channel
Retail & Product Data Compliance
• Own our presence in GS1, 1WorldSync, ICIX, and Nielsen Brand Bank
• Keep retailer portals (Walmart, Kroger, Target, etc.) updated with current images and descriptions
• Build and maintain compliance documentation — certifications, audit records, new item forms
Email & CRM
• Build our email program in Klaviyo — welcome flows, product launches, post-purchase, re-engagement
• Write copy, segment lists, deploy campaigns, and report on performance
• This channel does not exist yet in a meaningful way. You will build it.
Retail Media & Paid Advertising
• Manage and optimize campaigns on Walmart Connect and Instacart Ads
• Track ROAS, manage spend, and report results to leadership
• Know what is working, cut what is not, and reallocate budget accordingly
Sales Support & Broker Materials
• Build and maintain sell sheets, spec sheets, and sales presentations for our broker network
• Own a SharePoint broker hub — a single, organized source of truth for all sales materials
• Support retail onboarding: new item forms for Kroger, Whole Foods, Walmart, and others
Events & Field Marketing
• Attend trade shows and brand activations — set up, represent the brand, go live on TikTok
• Capture content in the field and repurpose it across every channel
• Coordinate samples, branded materials, and logistics for event appearances
PR & Earned Media
• Write and distribute press releases for launches, retail wins, and brand milestones
• Build a media list and pitch journalists, bloggers, and podcast hosts directly
• Use Claude AI to personalize outreach at scale — without a PR agency
Website & Brand Presence
• Keep our Shopify site current — products, images, descriptions, promotions
• Support the long-term redesign toward a shoppable, AI-personalized experience
• Manage retailer digital shelf content across Walmart.com, Kroger.com, Instacart, and others
Who You Are
• You do not wait to be told what to do.
• You have built things before — content programs, email flows, social channels, systems — and you know what it takes to start from zero and make something work.
• You are fluent with AI tools and use them every day, not occasionally.
• You are comfortable on camera. You can go live on TikTok from a trade show floor with no prep and make it compelling.
• You write well. Captions, emails, pitch decks — you produce clean, on-brand copy quickly.
• You are organized enough to manage 10+ active workstreams without dropping anything.
• You want to be part of something growing — not maintain something that already exists.
• You have a bias to action. When you see something that needs to happen, you make it happen. Done beats perfect. Speed beats hesitation.
Requirements
• 2+ years of hands-on marketing experience — agency, brand, or startup
• Demonstrated experience building something: a social channel, a campaign, a program, a system
• Comfortable on camera and capable of live-streaming on TikTok with energy and without a script
• Active daily user of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar)
• Strong writer — you produce clear, on-brand copy fast
• Proficient with Canva and CapCut or equivalent design and video tools
Organized self-manager who tracks their own deadlines and does not need reminders
Strong Bonus
• TikTok Shop or TikTok Live commerce experience
• CPG or food & beverage background
• Klaviyo, Shopify, or Amazon Seller Central experience
• Zapier or workflow automation experience
• Retail compliance tools: GS1, 1WorldSync, ICIX
• Experience with Walmart Connect or Instacart Ads
