Summary
As a Housekeeping Laundry Attendant, you'll be responsible for processing, preserving, and presenting the highest level of hotel linen quality possible for the Housekeeping department and organization as a whole.
We're looking for someone who can...
- Process all hotel linens (wash, press, and fold for distribution).
- Operate, clean, and maintain all laundry room equipment.
- Report any and all maintenance related problems or damage to the Rooms Manager immediately.
- Quickly treat stained linens with appropriate solutions to preserve product quality.
- Promptly clean all requested guest laundries with care and return to the guest with the highest quality of service when complete.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room each shift, consistently keeping dust and debris to a minimum.
- Ensure all equipment is turned off and dryers are free of lint and linens before leaving at the end of your shift.

Qualifications of Housekeeping Laundry Attendant
- No prior experience required!
- 1+ years’ hospitality or hotel laundry experience is a plus
- Flexible work availability including weekends required
- Equivalent education, skills, and/or experience necessary to perform the essential functions may be considered

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Physical Demands. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. They must frequently stand for extended periods, walk, sit, climb stairs, use fine motor dexterity, reach, stoop, kneel, bend, twist, push, pull, or crouch. Occasionally, the employee may need to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision. The role may also require sustained visual and mental concentration.
- Work Environment. Conditions are typical of a hotel laundry room. It is an indoor, controlled environment with variations in temperature from cool to hot, and a moderate level of noise.
