GranCo is looking for a Stone Polisher to join our countertop fabrication team.

If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in producing a quality finished product, and have experience with polishing, sanding, grinding, finishing, fabrication, or similar detailed production work, this could be a great opportunity for you.

Previous granite or countertop experience is preferred, but related polishing and finishing experience may also be considered.

What You'll Do

As a Stone Polisher, you'll be responsible for helping create the finished look and feel of our countertop products before they leave the shop. You'll work closely with our fabrication team to make sure each piece meets our quality standards.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Polish and finish stone surfaces and edges to meet quality standards 
• Grind, sand, and polish material to achieve the required finish 
• Inspect finished pieces for scratches, chips, uneven areas, or other imperfections 
• Make finishing corrections when needed 
• Follow job measurements and specifications 
• Safely use polishing, grinding, and other applicable hand/power tools 
• Work closely with fabricators and other production team members to keep jobs moving 
• Maintain quality while meeting production expectations 
• Keep tools and the work area clean and organized 
• Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience with polishing, finishing, sanding, grinding, fabrication, or similar hands-on work 
• Has strong attention to detail 
• Takes pride in the quality and appearance of their work 
• Is comfortable working with hand and power tools 
• Can follow measurements, instructions, and job specifications 
• Can identify imperfections and make necessary corrections 
• Is dependable and works well as part of a production team 
• Can work effectively in a fast-paced shop environment 

Granite, quartz, countertop, or stone polishing experience is a plus.

• Metal grinding or finishing 
• Manufacturing finishing work 
• Other hands-on polishing or finishing experience
