Job description:
At SpeechCom Speech Therapy Center, we’re more than a therapy clinic we’re a team of passionate professionals who believe that every child deserves to be supported exactly as they are. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who is enthusiastic, collaborative, and deeply committed to helping children thrive in their own unique ways.
This is a great opportunity for a confident, compassionate therapist who is eager to work in a supportive, child-centered environment where inclusion and individuality are core values.
Why SCSTC?

- Consistent caseload: Start with an established schedule of pediatric clients
- Team environment: We value open communication, shared problem-solving, and learning together
- Meaningful Work: We recognize and respect the diverse ways children experience and interact with the world and help them and their families thrive.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver engaging, goal-based treatment sessions under the supervision of an occupational therapist
- Support children in strengthening fine motor and self-care abilities while honoring individual sensory needs and preferences.
- Document progress and collaborate with your supervising occupational therapist and child’s care team
- Engage with parents and caregivers to support the child at home and in the community through caregiver education
- Contribute to a therapy space that is positive, playful, and respectful of each child’s individuality
We’d Love to Meet You If You:
- Have experience working with pediatric clients although new grads are welcome to apply
- Are confident, proactive, and organized in your sessions
- Hold an active COTA license in the state of California
We are a team that listens, supports, and celebrates both our clients and each other. If you’re excited about making a meaningful difference while growing your skills in a clinic that values thoughtful care, we’d love to hear from you.
