About the Position
- Position Title: Manufacturing Associate I
- Location: Seattle, WA
- Employment Type: Full-time, nonexempt | On-site
- Position Pay Range: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour (based on knowledge, skills, and experience)
What You’ll Do
- Execute routine manufacturing tasks following SOPs and GMP requirements.
- Prepare buffers, reagents, and solutions for production.
- Maintain accurate batch records and documentation.
- Operate and monitor basic and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
- Assemble, label, and package diagnostic kit components.
- Support ELISA processes such as plate coating and reagent preparation.
- Maintain clean work areas and comply with safety and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–2 years of laboratory or diagnostic assay kit manufacturing experience
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Basic laboratory knowledge and comfort working with equipment
Preferred:
- Experience with ELISA or immunoassay techniques
- Familiarity with GMP or regulated environments
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Work Environment
- GMP-compliant manufacturing and laboratory setting
- Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) environment with required PPE
- Work may include standing for extended periods and handling biological materials
- Occasional lifting (up to ~30 lbs with assistance)
