Job Description:

 

We are looking for a Legal Assistant Team Member to join our team on a part-time (approximately 20-24 hours per week), seasonal basis from about August 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026. Your main duties will be reviewing and organizing requests from other team members, entering data, and other related tasks assisting the legal team.


A successful Legal Assistant will demonstrate a strong attention to detail and organization, while also communicating effectively. You should also be able to pick out and determine what information needs to go to which of the three (3) legal team members. Our ideal candidate has previous experience as a legal or corporate executive assistant that can parse through large amounts of communication and distill to the most vital information regarding questions being asked and contracts being requested.  This position will require coordinating the input of various company personnel, including executives/business owners, legal, sales, customer success, and technology in a fast-paced environment with employees working remotely.


Responsibilities:

  • Review the legal teams’ emails and determine questions being asked and contracts being requested by sales, customer success, technology, and any other team members
  • Distill and collate questions / contract request information into an easily understandable running list / report, which includes request dates, deadlines, and all other relevant details
  • Enter contract information into contract databases
  • Other administrative legal team tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree  
  • 3+years of work experience as a legal or corporate executive assistant or similar role
  • Basic understanding of corporate contracting process and general legal requirements involved with contracts
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with or ability to learn how to operate a variety of software and operational computer programs, such as Salesforce and Docusign, among others as needed
  • Keen attention to detail, with an ability to distill large amounts of information to their most pertinent details
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
