McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC is seeking an experienced attorney to join its team, focusing on municipal government and redevelopment work. This role involves advising public bodies on issues relating to redevelopment, public contracting, procurement, affordable housing, and public finance, as well as guiding redevelopment projects involving contract negotiation, land use, tax incentives, and structured financing. Responsibilities include drafting legal documents, attending public meetings, and managing multiple projects.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience and be admitted to practice in New Jersey. Candidates must have substantial experience in municipal and/or redevelopment law, excellent drafting skills, and outstanding analytical ability, including an interest in public finance. Candidates should also demonstrate a commitment to teamwork, an interest in taking on significant responsibility, and a willingness to engage regularly with clients and attend day and evening meetings.
