Working Hours: Varied, weekends and holidays.  

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time   


JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking motivated and versatile individuals to join our team as Cross-Trained Wait Staff. This dynamic role provides opportunities to gain hands-on experience and training across various food and beverage service positions, including Server Assistant, Server, Banquet Server, House Person and Bartender. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, adaptable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:


Server Assistant

  • Support servers by clearing, resetting, and preparing tables promptly.
  • Assist with delivering food and beverages to guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
  • Refill beverages, bread, or other table items as needed.
  • Respond to guest requests and communicate effectively with the team.

Server

  • Provide exceptional table service by taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Explain menu items, daily specials, and beverage options with confidence and accuracy.
  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Handle payments, process checks, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.

Banquet Server & Horseperson

  • Set up banquet spaces according to event specifications, including table arrangements, decorations, and service stations.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently during events, such as weddings, corporate meetings, and other gatherings.
  • Monitor guest needs throughout the event, replenishing items and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Clear tables and assist in post-event cleanup and breakdown.

Bartender

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, restocking supplies as needed.
  • Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service.
  • Interact with guests at the bar, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Set up, maintain, restock, and break down workstations. 
  • Ensure workstation and equipment are clean and sanitary.
  • Proper breakdown & cleaning of assigned station after every shift: counters, shelves, trash, and floors
  • Must be able to read ticket orders and arrange properly for delivery. 
  • Must be able to identify different types of foods & chemicals.
  • Must make sure all food that leaves the kitchen looks amazing & plated correctly.
  • Must have proper knife skills and be able to produce food properly. 
  • Organize station coolers/freezers & check dates.
  • Preparation for daily & upcoming restaurant events. 
  • Must maintain the highest level of sanitary standards.
  • Must be able to work at your assigned station daily & rapidly during rush hours.
  • Must be able to stand, climb, stoop, bend, reach overhead, lift minimum of 50 lbs., push, and pull on a continuous basis.
  • Must be able to work with co-workers as a team player.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to different roles and responsibilities.
  • Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages and mixology (for bartender role) is a plus.
  • Must meet the legal age requirement for serving alcohol (if applicable).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 25-40 pounds (e.g., trays, glassware, or supplies).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
