Head Teller- Lakeway| Location: 1603 Ranch Rd 620 S, Lakeway, TX 78734| Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am-5:45PM and rotating Saturdays: 8:45am-12:15pm| Salary Range: $43,000-$47,500 |FLSA Status: Non-exempt  


About the Role

Austin Telco Federal Credit Union is seeking a Head Teller to oversee daily teller operations and provide frontline support at our Lakeway Branch. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys coaching others, ensures accurate and efficient transactions, and creates a welcoming experience for both members and team members. 


What You’ll Do 

  • Open and close the branch following security procedures
  • Supervise teller staff, including training, scheduling, and performance support
  • Provide accurate, courteous, and prompt service to members in person and by phone
  • Assist members with account inquiries, transactions, and loan processing
  • Open and close accounts, IRAs, HSAs, Share Certificates, and ensure proper documentation
  • Process payments, deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and fraud/dispute paperwork
  • Balance cash drawer and maintain vault security
  • Support mobile deposit and coin counter transactions
  • Collaborate with branch management and attend required training sessions

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience in a financial institution or teller role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to supervise and support a team effectively
  • Familiarity with financial systems and office equipment
