Three D Metals is currently hiring machine operators for their new facility in Valley City. We are looking for energetic and adaptable candidates to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who likes to be busy, enjoys working with people, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every shift. Experience with FANUC robots and Robodrill machining centers is highly desired.
Summary
The Machine Operator will set up and operate a variety of machining equipment.
Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Set up and operate machining centers, including punch presses and press brakes
- Install and adjust tooling, including dies, cutters, and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints and instructions to ensure accurate production
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure specifications are met
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED. Vocational school education a plus
- Minimum three years of experience operating machining equipment (punch presses, press brakes, or similar)
- Experience setting up tooling and making adjustments
- Preferred experience includes operation of Ehrts, Fanuc Robots, Fanuc RoboDrill machining centers, and Bystronic Press Brakes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement.
