Therapist – The Grove (Residential Adolescent Substance Use Program)

Location: Winter Springs, FL

Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Reports To: Clinical Director

Starting Salary: Starting at $55,000 annually, with higher starting pay considered based on education, licensure, and experience.

IMPOWER is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join The Grove, our residential treatment program serving adolescents facing substance use challenges. In this role, you'll provide evidence-based, trauma-informed counseling and treatment planning while helping young people build healthier futures. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents.
  • Maintain a clinical caseload and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Complete assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge documentation in accordance with DCF, AHCA, BHOS, and IMPOWER standards.
  • Collaborate and communicate with families, residential staff, and interdisciplinary teams to support each youth’s progress.
  • Develop safety plans and coordinate discharge and transition planning.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and an on-call rotation as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, uphold confidentiality, and comply with all regulatory and agency requirements.


Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related human services field.
  • Florida licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience providing mental health and/or substance use counseling.
  • Ability to successfully complete a Level II background screening, local law enforcement screening, and pre-employment drug screening.
