CAMPUS PRODUCER // CROSSROADS CHURCH


Position Summary: The Campus Producer plays a critical role in creating a clear, compelling, and well-executed weekend experience at Crossroads Church. This role provides leadership and oversight for all campus-level production elements, ensuring that audio, ligting, video, and service flow work together seamlessly to support an inspirational worship experience. The Campus Producer collaborates closely with worship leaders, campus leadership, and production volunteers to plan, prepare, and execute weekend services and special events with excellence. This position requires strong technical skill, thoughtful planning, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paces, live environment.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Weekend Service Production

• Collaborate with worship teams, production teams, and the Campus Pastor to shape the overall

feel and flow of weekend services.

• Lead all technical and service-flow elements to create an intentional, focused, and well-ordered

environment.

• Serve as the central producer during services, directing communicators, worship leaders,

announcers, and production teams.


Technical Setup & Execution

• Program and oversee weekly lighting, audio, graphics, and lyric integration for weekend

services.

• Manage and maintain all campus production equipment.

• Mix Front of House audio for weekend services and additional campus events as needed.

• (Woodbury campus specific): Direct live IMAG video for services and events as needed.


Rehearsal Coordination

• Coordinate and lead rehearsals to ensure all service elements align with the intended worship

experience.

• Work closely with worship leaders and musicians to refine transitions, timing, and flow.


Volunteer Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, train, schedule, and develop volunteers serving in production roles.

• Foster a healthy, collaborative team culture that values preparation, excellence, and growth.


Event & Special Production Support

• Oversee production for campus-specific events, including youth nights, camps, and special

gatherings.

• Manage all technical needs related to campus events outside of weekend services.


Collaboration & Ongoing Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly meetings and campus initiatives with engagement.

• Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Production Lead.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education

o High school diploma with prior experience in related live production or producing roles

preferred.


Qualifications

o Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to diagnose and solve

problems quickly.

o Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead teams in live, high-pressure

environments.

o Experience mixing in live audio; experience with professional digital consoles strongly

preferred.

o A strong ear for audio and an eye for visual excellence.

o Familiarity with lighting software and consoles (Vista, LightKey, GrandMA) preferred.

o Experience with live video switching systems (e.g., Blackmagic ATEM, Ross) preferred.

o Familiarity with ProPresenter, Planning Center, and similar production or administrative

tools preferred.

o Open to continued learning and growth, both spiritually and technically.


Work Environment

o Work is accomplished primarily indoors in a production and administrative environment.

o Frequent exposure to noise more than 84dB.

o Flexibility is required during key ministry seasons and special events.

o Regular work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with occasional Friday and Saturday

responsibilities for ministry events, services, and special programming.


Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

• Ability to safely set up, adjust, and transport production equipment.

• Ability to climb ladders, bend, reach, and work in elevated or confined spaces as required by

production setups, and remain standing for extended periods at rehearsals, services, or events.

• Must be able to operate tools and equipment safely in compliance with church safety guidelines

and OSHA standards.

Classification: Exempt; Salary

Status: Full-time; 40 hours per week
