How this job will fit your life:
- Hours – 1st shift 10-hour days
- Days – 4 Day work week (Three Day Weekend!)
- Pay – Depending on Experience
What you can expect each day:
- Coordinate the setup operations with the CNC Manager to ensure that the jobs are efficiently set up and operating
- Determine the sequence of shaping operations and chooses the tools needed
- Follow instructions on travelers and specifications
- Troubleshoot and correct problems with programs and/or machine setups
- Use lean and Six Sigma to optimize, improve productivity and reduce waste/improve yields
- Participate in corrective and preventive actions

What the position requires:
- Must be able to read and understand job orders, drawings/blueprints and other data and perform all the necessary calculations
- Experience with Fanuc controls, Haas
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Capable of meeting assigned deadlines
- Working knowledge of MRP processing
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
- Understand standard operating procedures to modify, store, maintain and transfer programs to maintain inventory of completed programs
- Ability to train others in machine operation
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years machining experience
- At least 2 years Setup experience
