Laundry-4U is a Houston-based laundromat company operating multiple locations across the city. We are committed to providing our customers with clean, modern, and well-maintained facilities. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance & Facilities Technician to help keep our locations in top condition and support the development of new sites.
Position Summary
This is a field-based, hands-on role. The right candidate will be comfortable taking on a wide range of maintenance and construction tasks across multiple locations without requiring close supervision. From routine upkeep at existing stores to assisting with the buildout of brand new locations, this position plays a direct role in the day-to-day success of our business. Responsibilities
Day-to-day tasks will vary depending on what is needed across our locations. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the buildout and setup of new laundromat locations, including running cables, framing, installing and demolishing drywall, building custom fixtures such as desks and shelving units, and installing flooring
- Performing general maintenance and repairs at existing locations to keep stores clean, safe, and fully operational
- Handling restroom repairs including plumbing fixtures, toilets, sinks, and drains
- Conducting routine maintenance checks on commercial washers and dryers and escalating issues that require specialized service
- Performing basic HVAC checks such as filter changes, ventilation inspections, and flagging anything that requires a licensed technician
- Painting, patching, and handling general cosmetic upkeep across all locations
- Responding to maintenance needs as they arise and managing time effectively across multiple sites
- Taking on additional tasks as directed by management
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with practical, hands-on experience across multiple trades who can work independently and adapt to changing priorities. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, good judgment, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks with consistency and care.
- Some experience in general maintenance, construction, or a related trade is preferred
- Comfortable using a wide range of tools and taking on unfamiliar tasks as needed
- Able to work independently and prioritize responsibilities across multiple locations
- Reliable transportation to travel between Houston-area locations
- Able to perform physical labor and lift to 75 lbs. throughout the workday
- Punctual, dependable, and takes ownership of their work
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required
