Heartline Staffing is accepting applications for upcoming August and September orientation classes for Licensed Practical Nurses in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
This is a 6-month local contract supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a state-operated residential healthcare setting.
Position Highlights:

- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

About the Assignment:
Licensed Practical Nurses provide direct nursing care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a structured residential healthcare environment. Responsibilities include medication administration, treatments, documentation, resident assessments, collaboration with Registered Nurses and interdisciplinary team members, and supporting individualized plans of care.
Some individuals may have challenging behaviors. This assignment is best suited for LPNs who are compassionate, patient, dependable, and comfortable providing nursing care in a structured behavioral healthcare setting.
Orientation is mandatory, paid, and runs for approximately 3 weeks, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, before transitioning to the assigned shift.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or eligibility for Pennsylvania reciprocity.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work a full-time, 40-hour per week schedule for the duration of the 6-month contract.
- Ability to successfully complete the required paid three-week orientation program prior to starting the assigned shift.
- Ability to provide direct resident care, including assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal care.
- Ability to work professionally with adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, including individuals with behavioral challenges.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing quality resident-centered care.
