Overview
Culinesse is seeking an Financial Operations Analyst to partner with various teams throughout the Culinesse and Three Oaks Senior Dining organizations. The role supports the objectives of the finance and accounting team while assisting operating departments with forecasting, budget, planning, financial analysis and reporting, as well as operational finance controls for labor and inventory. This role will analyze both internal financial data and supplier spend to provide better visibility and support decision making.
Job Responsibilities
- Consolidates, analyzes, and reports monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results and compares them against key performance indicators such as plan, historical results and other specified benchmarks;
- Supports assigned regions and lines of business with forecasting, actuals, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting;
- Builds and maintain regional templates and reports to facilitate monthly and quarterly reporting;
- Provides analysis for and assists in the preparation of financial presentations for senior leadership meetings;
- Supports and assists with the annual and long-term strategic planning processes;
- Creates dynamic, insightful reporting using business intelligence tools;
- Builds and maintains dashboards and scorecards to support performance visibility and decision making;
- Analyzes internal financial data as well as partner and supplier spend to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities;
- Drives key initiatives in support of financial objectives relating to revenue, profit and cash flow;
- Supports operational finance controls to maintain audit readiness;
- Engages on special projects supporting enterprise-wide initiatives as needed.
- Minimum 2-to-3-year financial analyst experience required;
- Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, business, or a related subject;
- Background in senior living, foodservice, or hospitality preferred;
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to interact and effectively communicate with senior management and diverse teams;
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and prioritize accordingly;
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence and get results without formal authority;
- Sound business judgment and ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations;
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau);
- Experience with Sage Intacct or comparable ERP / accounting systems;
- Experience with Ramp or comparable expense management / spend control platform;
- Experience working with financial data (P&L, budgets, forecasting).
