Job Summary:
The Captain is responsible for all normal flight and flight operations duties, his/her crew and aircraft from report to duty until released. This aircraft will be operated on demand with varying flight and duty schedules and all operations will be conducted under part 121 of the U.S. FARs.
Functions/Responsibility:
- Act as the Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) and In-Flight Security Coordinator (ISC) of the flight
- Carry out duties concerning the flight, in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures, including procedures, limitations and performance relating to the specific aircraft type
- Provide safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining a continuous and independent check upon both the geographical position of the aircraft and its safe terrain clearance
- Safely and properly conduct the flight in compliance with the current flight plan
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Aviation Related College Degree preferred
- A valid unrestricted driver’s license
- A valid unrestricted passport
- First Class Medical
- FAA Commercial Pilot License with an Instrument Rating
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Boeing 737 Type Rating
- 2,500 hours total time and 500 hours turbine time
- Minimum of 500 hours in a type FAR 121 airline
- Type rated in Boeing-737
Work Environment & Culture Skills:
- Basic MS Office knowledge, computer software & internet proficiency
- Must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check

Physical Requirements:

Shift Requirements:
- 13 days on, 10 days off schedule bid in 90-day increments
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Must be available full-time and for assigned shifts; including nights, weekends and holidays
Other Requirements:
- Must meet FAR Part 121 age requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
